A well depicted explaination for what NLP is. NLP Defined.
WARNING ! LISTEN WITH CAUTION ! THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION COULD CHANGE YOUR LIFE ! Good morning/afternoon, ladies, gentlemen, girls, boys and judges. NLP, now you’re probably thinking what the heck is NLP. NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Promgramming. Neuro is Referred to as the “Software for the Brain”, NLP is a model for being able to duplicate human excellence and learn new behaviors at an accelerated pace. Neuro Linguistic Programming began it’s life early in the 1970s when an Associate Professor from the University of California, Santa Cruz, John Grinder, teamed up with an undergraduate Richard Bandler. Both men had a fascination with human excellence which charted a path for them to model behavioural patterns of selected geniuses. NLP is a way of thinking and a set of skills that are easy to understand, that will give you more focus, self esteem, power to make good decisions, focus, direction, self confidence, ability to create wealth, productivity, less procrastination and faster progress. A key element of NLP is that we form our unique internal mental maps of the world as a product of the way we filter and perceive information absorbed through our five senses from the world around us. If NLP were to teach you to observe people in a different way, see through the surface they present, hear what they are really saying, know how they feel, deep down in their core, would that be of interest to you, now? NLP is used in virtually every field where EXCELLENCE is the goal, including medicine, business, public relations, psychology, therapy, education, sports, the arts, as well as in day to day living.
